Det velkendte linjeafløb til placering mod væggen blev udviklet i 2003 af den danske arkitekt Claus Dyre. Claus Dyre havde tegnet mange badeværelser og blev hver eneste gang mødt af udfordringen; at skulle bryde store, smukke fliser i bruseområdet for at få afløbet til at passe. En idé begyndte at spire i hans kreative sind og inden længe var verdens første afløbssystem designet og godkendt til montering langs væggen blevet til virkelighed.
