Academic Student Worker

DIS Stockholm is seeking three Student Workers to support our Academic Administration team. In this role, you will assist with a wide range of academic administrative tasks, working closely with staff and faculty, with occasional student-facing tasks. Housing and Student Life Operations Coordinator (maternity cover)

External Lecturer – Thermodynamics – DIS Stockholm

DIS Stockholm is currently hiring an external lecturer to teach the course “Thermodynamics.” The course starts in January 2026 and course preparation is expected in winter 2025. The course is offered every spring term (mid January to mid May) and every fall term (mid August to mid December). Course load for each term includes 23 lectures (80 minutes each) and 2 field studies in the Stockholm region (4 hours each) per term, plus student assessment, grading, and feedback. External Lecturer (summer) – “Public Health in the Arctic” – DIS Stockholm

DIS Stockholm is currently hiring external faculty to teach the summer course Public Health in the Arctic to highly motivated undergraduate students from North American universities who are spending 3 weeks of their summer studying in Stockholm. The teaching position will begin in June, and the summer course is from Tuesday June 23 to Thursday July 9, 2026. The faculty will also plan and lead a 6-day academic study tour to Northern Norway, expectedly June 28-July 3, 2026. Course description
